Christmas for the Veterans

Each year we like to give gifts to our local Veterans.  This year we not only gave to the Residents at the American Legion Post 17 Home in Gallatin, but we also began a new tradition of giving gifts to the Veterans at Legacy Village of Hendersonville.   Our hope is that as we as an organization continue to grow, we will be able to reach more and more of our Veteran Community. Unfortunately, this year we were so wrapped up in the event that we forgot to take pictures.  The pictures below are of our organization members packing up the gifts.

Veterans Day  at  Legacy Village of Hendersonville

What better way to spend Veterans Day than to visit our Veterans at Legacy Village nursing home.  These Ladies and Gentleman proudly served our country and it was our honor to spend the day with each and every one of them.

6th Annual FCA Rodeo, Wilson County Fairgrounds

Honor Release Return was honored to be able to have a booth at the FCA Rodeo this year.  Our goal at this event was to help raise awareness of our mission.  We handed out information pamphlets on our organization and the events that we do throughout the year.  We were also blessed enough to be able to raise funds for our annual Christmas for the Vets event. To help raise awareness, our President Brandon "Tomahawk", volunteered his bike so that people could have their picture taken on a "Steel Horse." To say that this was successful would be an understatement.  Kids and adults alike enjoyed learning the proper way to "mount" a bike, and that safety is always first.  We look forward to making this a yearly event that we participate in.

Vittles For Vets Annual Event

 American Legion Post 17 Veterans Residence

Honor Release Return would like to give a huge shoutout to our Sponsor E-Z lift Garage Doors and our Donors Logan's Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Buffalo Wild Wings , Burger King, Top Hog BBQ (all in Gallitan, TN), Kasey Lee Photography (Portland, TN), Mikes Foodland, Above And Beyond Cakes (Westmoreland, TN) and Mr. Roger Pullen for helping to make this years Vittles for Vets the best event yet. A huge thank you also goes out to the men and women who participated in our ride, the money raised will be going towards making Christmas for the Vets amazing. And last but not least all the volunteers who showed up to provide music and help serve food. Without all of your support this day for our Veterans in Gallitan would not be possible.

Combat Veterans Association TN 18-1

11th Annual Fallen Brothers Memorial Ride 

Some of our members were honored to take part in this ride.  At last known count there were over 160 bikes at this event.  People showed up and showed out for our fallen brothers and sisters.

27 August 2023 Community Cleanup Event with Freebird Memorial Group

Our groups got together to cleanup a Veteran's yard as well as some minor home projects.  We also spent time in fellowship with this wonderful Veteran.
